Automobile is identified as an early en:De Dion-Bouton Vis-à-vis; probably model D or L:

  • Make's logo on front panel (not a car built by another manufacturer under DDB licence)
  • no brake drums on rear wheels indicate gear brake only
  • gear change by second wheel on steering column (no protruding gear lever)

There is no outside detail to identify whether this is a model D or L; the difference is in the single cylinder engine only: D has a 3½ HP 402 cc; L has a 6 HP 700 cc engine.--Chief tin cloud (talk) 16:17, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
