No evidence for eastern frontier

There is no evidence whatsoever for the Göktürks to have reached the Pacific Ocean. Therefore, I would edit this map to at least shorten the eastern-most border of the empire. Further, if the creator of this map already put in distinctions like "directly controlled" into the map's legend, he might as well color the areas that were the core of the empire, with the rest being indirectly controlled.
