File talk:Full flow staged rocket cycle.png

This schematic diagram graphic is out of date. It does not comport with the description of the only FFSC engine currently under development (fuel flow, gas flow, no preburners, etc.). See the English Wikipedia article Wikipedia:Staged combustion cycle (rocket), also at full link here.

I have asked the original graphic designer if they might consider updating the file -- but it does not look like they are still active on Wikimedia (last action by Duk was in 2009).

If the graphic were to be a bit more general, and show the preburners and full flow, while not being specific to the new large Raptor engine by SpaceX, then there is a useful schematic of another full-flow staged combustion engine in this source: <ref name=sippel2012> {{cite journal |last=Sippel|first=Martin |coauthors=Yamashiro, Ryoma; Cremaschi, Francesco |title=Staged Combustion Cycle Rocket Engine Design Trade-offs for Future Advanced Passenger Transport |url=http://elib.dlr.de/78208/1/Prop2012-2.pdf |journal=Space Propulsion 2012 |date=2012-05-10 |series=ST28-5 |accessdate=2014-03-19 |publisher=DLR-SART }}</ref>, available online as of March 2014.
