I, Figaro, took this photo on 11 November, 2005 at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I uploaded the image to Wikipedia and added the image to the Rainbow Lorikeet article on the same day - 11 February, 2007 at 13.53 [1]. The reason why I am adding this comment is because I have just discovered that the image was incorrectly attributed to Jacopo Montano (as the author), by Mousse when he (Mousse) uploaded the image to Wikimedia Commons on 7 December, 2007.

This photo is actually a cropped half-section version of a larger photo which I took - (actually the right-hand side of the full photo, File:Rainbow-Lorikeets.JPG) which is also on both Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. I uploaded the full version of the photo to Wikipedia on 12 November 2005, the day after the photo was taken. As I have already shown by the above statement, I am the true and genuine author of this photo. Figaro (talk) 12:54, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
