Reliability

[edit]

This emblem is cropped from the cover of an official publication published by the Republic of Vietnam called Thành Tích Hoạt Động Của Nội Các Chiến Tranh, which does not specify what this emblem is. The document title and information came from an untrustworthy user, so this document may or may not be a symbol of the National Assembly of the Republic of Vietnam.

I added to the "Other Versions" of the file information two photos from the 1967 presidential election in the Republic of Vietnam, taken in Hội Trường Diên Hồng (Upper House), showing this emblem on the wall. However, until more detailed evidence is found, I doubt the reliability of the information of this document. 源義信 (talk) 12:29, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the logo appears on the cover of a book introducing the war cabinet published in 1965 and in photographs of the 1967 election, the emblem must belong to the transitional period ((1963 - 1967) of the Republic of VN. 源義信 (talk) 09:42, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
源義信, So you think that it was the provisional national emblem of the w:vi:Ủy ban Lãnh đạo Quốc gia (Việt Nam Cộng hòa) ? -- — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 10:45, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I guess so, but I'm not sure if it's the emblem of Ủy ban Hành pháp Trung ương (Central Executive Committee/Cabinet) or Ủy ban Lãnh đạo Quốc gia (National Leadership Committee/Directorate). I'm trying to find sources, but it seems difficult.
Anyway, I have never seen it in documents from the First and Second Republic periods, and the symbols of the National Assembly from both periods have been found, so it is very unlikely that the original description is true (Emblem of the National Assembly of the Republic of Vietnam from 1965 to 1975). 源義信 (talk) 11:06, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
源義信, Yeah, but it's just typical "Musée Annam attribution" where he finds something and attributes it based on "a hunch" or "just trust me, bro" and we're just supposed to believe him. Until more information is found I'm against using it as it is better to be cautious than to be like Musée Annam and unknowingly (or even deliberately) spread false information. — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 11:10, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vectorization

This logo should be vectorized. Baokhang48812002 (talk) 16:44, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
