The mechanical trade's sleeve habit

The futility and damage that occurs as a result of the mechanical trade's habit to sleeve is clearly demonstrated by this picture. The sleeve becomes another penetrant that requires its own firestopping. But not only that, it also unnecessarily sends more heat through to the unexposed side, that is intended to be kept free of smoke and with a little temperature increase as possible.--Ahering@cogeco.ca (talk) 17:56, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
