I suspect this may have been misidentified by DDG people - other D. speciosum pics on the net are all bright red, no magenta. Stan Shebs 00:51, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The plant was misidentified. It is actually Delosperma cooperi - still a Southern African plant in the Aizoaceae family, however. You can tell by the magenta petals, and rounded, succulent leaves.
