This doesn't illustrate the concept of dimidiation well at all (the two coats subjected to dimidiation were poorly chosen). AnonMoos (talk) 05:16, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for a comment. And I know. I have created this image to show a worse coat caused by dimidiation and to compare with impalement (See File:Impalement demo.svg). If need, I will create a coat which is better combination of dimidiation.--Balmung0731 (talk) 06:53, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think the fields of the two source shields have to be different colors to illustrate the concept clearly; see the SVG I've just uploaded... AnonMoos (talk) 08:09, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I know. But, even if your uploaded image is better case, I need a worse case to describe a trouble of dimidiation in marshalling article on Wikipedia Japanese edition. May I upload the old image with other file name?--Balmung0731 (talk) 08:24, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, but maybe you should have made it clear that you were trying to show an example of dimidiation which results in unclarity, instead of trying to illustrate the concept of dimidiation in general... AnonMoos (talk) 08:38, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I will use your new image to show a better example and to illustrate general concept of dimidiation in the article. Thanks to your advice, I can make the article be better. Most Japanese don't know the European heraldry, so even if my description is worse, they can't comment to the article.--Balmung0731 (talk) 08:57, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I guess mon are never either dimidiated or impaled. -- AnonMoos (talk) 09:54, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
