There are two 'Groes-faen' or 'Groesfaen'.
> One in the Rhondda Cynon Taf - to which this image is linked.
> The other is a very small hamlet ( row of 28 terraced houses - 'Groesfaen Terrace' ) on the road between Bargoed and Deri.
Previously the Groesfaen Colliery had been further up the valley - see Wiki-page 'Darran Valley'.
This image 'Descent to Groes-faen' is of the path down to this row of terraced houses.
I stood on precisely the same spot last Sunday when viewing the last house in the terrace, which one of my daughter to wishing to buy !
