Species

[edit]

This is certainly not Philanthus triangulum or "Philanthus diadema" which is actually a subspecies of the former - Philanthus triangulum diadema. In P.triangulum the front legs are reddish, the mid and hind legs are predominantly yellow, wings are clear, abdomen is yellow and black, female has red spot behind eyes, etc. I don't know African species so I can't ID it.
