No source given for the data presented here, but the distribution in New Zealand showing it present over a wide area of the South Island doesn't gell with any sources that I could find eg http://www.birdlife.org/datazone/speciesfactsheet.php?id=6823. They were introduced into the South Island in the 1870s but had died out by 1890 http://www.newzealandbirds.co.nz/birds/mynah.html. Many sources have the whole of the North Island shaded but it is generally accepted that they don't form stable populations south of about 40degrees latitude http://nzbirdsonline.org.nz/species/common-myna. --Tony Wills (talk) 02:18, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

NZ Northland mynas?

[edit]

Should the NZ Northland also be shaded? Mynas also appear in Northland too. Qwertyxp2000 (talk) 05:15, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
