This is not a correct representation of the Yauco coat of arms. -

Currently there is this ..gif on the English Wikipedia Yauco and other articles. File:Yauco.gif - this is a correct representation of the Yauco coat of arms (see # of serpents) but User talk:Cookieman1.1.1 has begun to replace the ..gif with their .svg which is an incorrect representation of the coat of arms. i.e. user uploaded this File:Coat of arms of Yauco, Puerto Rico.svg which incorrectly has 7 serpent heads on each side and there should be seven total: 4 on the left and 3 on the right.

For some correct representations see here: https://www.pr.gov/Directorios//Pages/InfoMunicipio.aspx?PRIFA=M153 or here: https://boricuaonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/yauco_esc.gif

If user wants to create an .svg version that is fine, but the image shouldn't be changed.--The Eloquent Peasant (talk) 23:51, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@The Eloquent Peasant: Explain your reason for deletion request, CRW doesn't prove that it breaks copyright. I just checked CRW flags (note i changed my source as i uploaded this originally before you're advice) and on its website nothing shows it is copyrighted, I also have checked the Wikipedia guidelines and looking at such this file doesn't break copyright. Literally just linking a source that proves nothing isn't enough to meet the criteria for speedy deletion mate. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 15:19, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the copyright information on the site that you copied this image from. --The Eloquent Peasant (talk) 16:18, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@The Eloquent Peasant: I didn't copy the image, i recreated it technically and the info you provided is still too vague to prove it broke any rules. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 16:26, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Cookieman is in the right. He created the SVG, and therefore it is his work. If this file should get deleted, then every single one of my files should be deleted. And also should most of the SVGs on this site. --SaluteVII (talk) 21:11, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@JGHowes: Hello, the file you deleted didn't break the copyright at all and @The Eloquent Peasant: had not legitimate reason to delete and lately her edits towards my SVGs have not been good faith. The image in question wasn't even from CRW as CRW does not even do SVGS, I made that myself but listed that as my source since its what i based it off, still it doesn't break copyright. It was my original work therefore it doesn't break copyright. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 02:29, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In view of Speedy Delete having been contested, I've changed it to DR and further discussion should take place there. However, it should be noted that Yauco's website does not grant a free license and the other source allows non-commercial use only. If the source image is non-free, then a derivative isn't allowed on Commons.  JGHowes  talk 03:28, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
