Authenticity

[edit]

This is a pretty good replica of the Pauline Baynes illustration in Prince Caspian. The illustration is visible here: https://www.thefandomentals.com/king-not-prince-caspian-the-chronicles-of-narnia-reread-project-part-4 (I believe the color was added later, perhaps by Baynes). This is better than the one I created, File:COA_Telmar.png. Goustien (talk) 16:53, 18 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Would you say the bird is more like an eagle or a raven? Admittedly I have been wondering about it myself, and I noticed you added the file to the "Crows and ravens in heraldry" Category, while at the same time leaving it in the "Or an eagle sable" Category. What's your impression from the illustration? Snow Lion Fenian (talk) 10:58, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
