[edit]

Painting India in a single color - now that's an oversimplification. NVO (talk) 09:22, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Haiti?

[edit]

Why? What makes Haiti so different from the rest of the Caribbean? These divisions are pretty arbitrary, but they make some kind of sense other than this one. Koavf (talk) 20:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

African origins?--Martianmister (talk) 11:50, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe There are a lot of black Caribbean states. Koavf (talk) 01:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Turkey?

[edit]

Why Turkey is green? It is a lone country in Huntington's map.--Martianmister (talk) 11:50, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A guess It's a non-Arab, majority Muslim state; maybe that's it? I don't see why it's not just a part of the Middle East. Koavf (talk) 01:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What about all the other Turkic states? This map is much more accurate:NeoRetro (talk) 11:50, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What?

[edit]

This map is TERRIBLE. How is Haiti so different, but, say, Barbados, Louisiana or even South Carolina not? Similarly, I'd love to hear the explanation for what excludes Latin America from Western Christendom, and what includes Turkey, Mali, and Malaysia in the same "civilization." 71.206.186.34 05:10, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Croatia

[edit]

Why is Croatia in different color than the rest of Western world? It's darker blue.--93.139.22.205 15:16, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
