Interesting problem

I should have spotted before uploading this and two others the inscriptions on these plates are clear at File:Statue of Queen Victoria - geograph.org.uk - 2931478.jpg together with the engraving on the stones above the plates which describes them, though one might miss that if not looking for it. However a problem I have is that that file uses {{Geograph from structured data}} which means that the description of the file can't seem to be edited from within commons, except perhaps by a person competent in Wikidata (I have a limited competency in Wikidata probably well above many commons contributors but far far far below averagely competent Wikidata experts). I'll probably put these files up for deletion when I solve that problem and get the description updated or I'll have to go down to Pompey with a better camera with a great picture of the statue and plinth on my bucket list so I can put the information in the description! -- User:Djm-leighpark_(a)^talk 11:16, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
