Actually, the directors in the layers in the left part of the image is 90° rotated with respect to the helical structure shown on the right. This should be modified eventually.

Hmm, after looking & pondering one more time it became clear, that the left part shows a 180° rotation while the right part showed a 360° rotation. I have removed the discrepancy and the left part.
