Question about reversion

Because it's an over-categorization. "Cooking pots" is part of "cooking". For this reason, there is no need for double categorization here. Lukas Beck (talk) 11:51, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

Yes, in general I agree with this reasoning (I have removed myself a lot of categories from files for this reason). But there are a lot of cooking pots in Category:Cooking pots that are empty, or are not on a heating stove and for that reason belong not in Category:Cooking. So in this case I would like to add Category:Cooking. Perhaps there should be a category for empty cooking pots and/or for cooking pots that are actually used for cooking (Cooking with cooking pots)? I think the latter is a good idea. If a category is missing or too inaccurate, it's always a better idea to fix it than to categorize an image twice. Best regards, Lukas Beck (talk) 16:54, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
