More precise description and location

I would guess that this is one of the falls of the Acquafraggia torrent (en, it, nn and Parks.it, including photo), on the right side of the Val Bregaglia within the commune of Piuro. They are the most famous falls near Chiavenna, and are mentioned by Leonardo.
