Comment peut-on mettre en ligne dans une encyclopédie une carte déformée (rapport hauteur-largeur) !!!!

toutes les cartes sont "déformées", ça s'appelle "[[[:fr:Projection cartographique|projection]]". --Dbachmann (talk) 13:39, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, while this map may give a quick overview of the relevant groups in 5th-century Europe, it is compeltely unreferenced and also quite inaccurate. --Dbachmann (talk) 13:38, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, to be fair, in many cases accuracy will not be achievable in the first place. But the neat division between "Angli" and "Saxoni" is misleading. The presence of Syagrius' and Odoacer's kingdoms imply that this is specifically a map showing the situation during the decade of 476-486. And I just found a probable source, File:Politically divided Gaul, 481.jpg which shows the same optimistic range for the Alemanni, so I suppose we'll cite that as a reference and assume the year shown is 481 (accession of Clovis). --Dbachmann (talk) 13:48, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
