Vanniyars they are belongs to Kshatriya(Warriors) Caste in Tamilnadu.They got a Kshatriya as per the Hindu Varna system and History of Tamilnadu.They are were splitup by many names in many states of India,but they were all connected with status of Kshatriya.The nearest state or Tamilnadu which was shared the borders with Tamilnadu before the Independence of India.In Kerala Nairs are Kshatriya and subcaste of them is Vanniyars in Tamilnadu,there are surnames for Vanniyars in Tamilnadu which is called Padayatchi,Gounder,Naicker,Reddy,Malavar.As per their request and protest to Tamilnadu government for an special quotas in Education and Working system l. Tamilnadu government alloted their caste in MBC class but they are Higher in Caste class of Tamilnadu.
