Species-level identification

As this is the infobox image and therefore representative of carpenter ants on the English Wikipedia page for Camponotus, I think species-level identification would be recommended. I plugged the species and location into iNaturalist's internal identification system, which I believe is most accurate through trial and error. It suggests Camponotus eugeniae, and antmaps.org agrees with the distribution. I have also compared photos with C. eugeniae minor workers, and they differ little in morphology. 2003 LN6 02:21, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
