The plant is a fern and belongs to the Blechnaceae, family of Polypodiopsida (Pteridopsida/Pteridophyta). Most likely it shows the Blechnum discolor (Crown Fern), an endemic small tree fern in New Zealand.
Its Māori name is Kiokio.
Instead of changing the file name I set only a redirect from “Blechnum discolor.jpg”, but I add the categories. --Sarang (talk) 15:43, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
