[edit]

The bridge carries West Bath Road east-west across the river; the hydro dam is to the south, with the majority of its impound to the north. Subject image, taken from the west side of the river, makes it appear that the church is on the south side of West Bath Road, when, in fact, it is on the north side.

It turns out that the technician at the Library of Congress scanned the slide backwards. The image at the LOC has now been corrected, but this one is still backwards.

Subject Image Comparison Image
Taken from the west side of the river on the north of the bridge. The dam is visible on what appears to be the north side of the bridge; both the church and the dam impound appear to be to the south.
Also from the west side of the river, but on the actual south side of the bridge. The church is correctly seen on the north side of West Bath Road.
