This file is named Ashuradeh which is misleading because the site is located at Bandar Torkaman town opposite Ashuradeh ISland. The image shows the remains of the railbridge which was built by the Sovyets in WW II in order to receive the American supplies delivered thru British-Sovyet occupied Iran. Bandar Torkaman (formerly Bandar Shah) was the northern terminal of the Trans Iranian Railway. --Kipala (talk) 19:52, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
