Hmm, the carrier and the A tehtas aren't really necessary in this picture, since the letter itself (tengwa 26) is called arda. --Jon Harald Søby

True, for illustration purposes, although I don't believe you would usually spell the word that way. (You would think they would have different names for the letters in Sindarin, so spelling out the word makes it less ambiguous which is meant.) While we're at it, you could also leave off the a tehtar entirely, which is perfectly permissable (and possibly common) in Quenya spelling. Aranel 03:49, 2 Mar 2005 (UTC)
