w:Andrey Kashechkin photo?

So I just edited the wikipedia article w:Andrey Kashechkin to include an image in the infobox, and it's of him in Astana team colors, but is a six-year old image! There are, I think, five images of "Kash" here in wikimedia commons we could draw on: the one Astana shot and then four Lampre pics, including this one...

The Lampre ones are higher-resolution and one of them - this one (!!) - is quite well-composed imo, but of course Kash is no longer a Lampre rider. So I'm asking for help on Kash's talk page to discover consensus: should we use the old Astana image, or a newer Lampre image like this one, even though he's not on Lampre anymore?

So if we were to use this image but want to crop it, would we upload the cropped image to replace this one, or as a totally new commons image? Someone please advise. Thanks! Azx2 18:07, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
