Misidentification

[edit]

This specimen has been misidentified. It is a Jacky Dragon (Amphibolurus muricatus) not a Ctenophorus. As it is currently being used as an example of the Ctenophorus genus, this error needs to be corrected. Field herper (talk) 03:00, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • This lizard cannot be a Ctenophorus fordi, as the image was taken in Jervis Bay, Australia, which is several hundred kilometers away from where Ctenophorus fordi can actually be found. This image has to be a misidentification. B 897 (talk) 10:00, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
