This might be the Pride of Baltimore

The original Pride of Baltimore was a schooner inspired by a War of 1812 privateer, built in Baltimore, in 1977.
About 40 years ago it visited Toronto. She looked wickedly fast. I didn't get to go aboard, as it was labour day, and her volunteer crew were taking the day off...
To my non-sailor's eye, she looked dangerous to sail. Tragically, she turned out to be dangerous to sail, and was lost, with lives lost, a few years later. Another schooner was built, in 1988, the Pride of Baltimore II. I've seen pictures. She also looks fast, but her design is, apparently, safer. She has a wider beam.
