I am quite sure this is a photo of the Mauna Loa Road (the standard route to the summit)and not pre-historic Ainapo Trail or the Ainapo Road that leads to the trailhead. Supporting my opinion is the fact that the Ainapo Road is unpaved in entirety; of course Ainapo Trail is also unpaved. I hope to return to this site and provide a true photograph of the Ainapo trail, road or trailhead.

That would be good if you could get a true image - the NPS may have it mislabeled. That would not be the first time. Acroterion (talk) 03:30, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
