JMCC1, you have removed Category:Maps of the Sea of Marmara and Category:Old maps of Turkey. Why? -- Geagea (talk) 22:07, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @geagea. They are not old maps. They are copies of 1959. The maps of 1375 are in Category: Catalan Atlas. Regards, --JMCC1 (talk) 22:24, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wird, anyway it it's not old Category:Old maps of Turkey should be canged to Category:Maps of Turkey and Category:Maps of the Sea of Marmara shold not be removed at all. Also the source says that the map is from 1375 and look like a map from 1375. -- Geagea (talk) 22:29, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
See source Library of Congress. Date: 1959 --JMCC1 (talk) 22:38, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The source says 1375. See also the notes on LOC Facsim. of the 1375 ed. of the Catalan atlas, slightly reduced, in the Bibliothèque Nationale, known as "Atlas catalan de 1375." -- Geagea (talk) 23:02, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I will add the proposed categories, although it can create confusion.
Note. Reproduction of the Catalan Atlas of the 20th century that can not be considered facsimile of the original. Often it is confused with the authentic one. --JMCC1 (talk) 23:14, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @geagea. See Sea of Marmara in Catalan Atlas, by Abraham Cresques, 1375. Best regards, --JMCC1 (talk) 09:40, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
