Australian states

[edit]

Please don't reintroduce the Australian state borders to this map. It was decided, in this thread, that the map should be limited to international borders, in order to prevent the amount of information being conveyed from becoming overwhelming. A map of Australia's abortion laws was created as an alternative. Thanks. -Kyd 15:49, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Portugal

[edit]

The en:abortion law in Portugal has been changed. See here. Please update the colour to "Legal on demand". Thank you, Katt 19:04, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The abortion law in the Mexican Federal District (Mexico City) has changed. Abortion there is now legal on demand. See: [1] (en) [2] (sp) --Dúnadan 19:53, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

UNITED STATES

[edit]

Abortion in the United States is NOT "legal upon request". Abortion laws vary from state to state, and more than half of U.S. states ban certain types of abortions (late-term, for example) and/or ban under-age females from obtaining an abortion.

Again: abortion in the US is NOT "legal upon request".

Second trimester abortions are illegal in many states. Third trimester abortions are illegal in most states. Underage females cannot obtain an abortion without parental consent in most states.
