Criticism

The animation suffers from several issues.

First, although it says that the width of the slit is 6 wavelengths, it is clearly somewhere in the range 9-10 wavelengths.

Second, the inappropriate approximations that were made resulted in a misguiding appearence that leads to believe that the wave is mainly radiated sideways from the slit while the opposite is true.
