Hi,

This is a very nice photo, but it's not of 5700 Germantown Avenue, aka Vernon Hall. It's of the Vernon-Wister House, which is in Vernon Park, very near to Vernon Hall. Vernon Hall (which is the three story Art Deco building on the corner of Germantown and Chelten Avenues--you can see it in Google street view) was originally named Langstroth Hall after the man who built it in the 1850's and a subsequent owner changed the name to grab some of the cachet of Vernon Park. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.58.201.167 (talk) 20:28, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
