The belt buckle compromise

[edit]

The only belt buckle information I could find was the belt buckle compromise, where the 1976 debate masked the 3 1/2-inch height difference between Ford and Carter by having the lecterns intersect their torsos in different places - just below the belt buckle for the shorter Carter and just above the belt for Ford.[1] The buckles in this photo probably didn't play a roll in the belt buckle compromise, but this seemed like an interesting item. If you have information company that produced this collectible, please post. Thanks. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 13:44, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
