I doubt the information given by the museum. Shaft drive (Series D) trucks were introduced in 1915. My guess is that it was built 1917/1918t as an army truck, and was refurbished and adapted to civilian use after army release, hence the closed cabin. Not the with of this cabin, which had to enclose side-mounted gear and brake levers.--Chief tin cloud (talk) 20:08, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
