Can't be 1801, the church wasn't built until 1808, I don't think.
Just FYI, the stairs and balcony from the earlier building on what is now Washington Street, known as "Old Brick," were donated to the African American meeting house on Smith Place, which opened c. 1813, if I recall correctly.Dellaroux (talk) 21:56, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
