Font

[edit]

Hi! I want to convert this to svg and translate to other languages. Can you tell which font is used here?--Comrade-yutyo (talk) 22:57, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The best route to translation in other languages is commons:SVG Translate tool which requires plain text (not converted to paths) which limits the possibilities to those in this list: https://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/fc-list Arlo James Barnes 10:39, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

4 squares?

[edit]

It is strange that the logo of the knife with the 4 squares resembles Microsoft logo: maybe it could be removed. iopensa (talk) 16:55, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Open source - Open

[edit]

I think it would be fantastic to call it "Open" and to add open software to it (at the moment it is not included). Open source is a good feature of openness but we also need the authorization to modify and reuse also for commercial purpose: having access to the source (data, content, software, hardware and so on) is not sufficient according to the different declarations. iopensa (talk) 16:57, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Beautiful

[edit]

It is really a beautiful portrait of openness. I like very much the idea that it is a tool which allows you to do other and new things and that you can apply it to different objects, needs, uses. I like also the concept of open associated to a Swiss knife which we often use to open a can or a drink. Thanks for this upload! iopensa (talk) 17:01, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
