Trackwork

As a by-product this image depicts the trackwork in present at Limerick Junction in August 1994. The Cork Southbond express is leaving the northern park of the long platform via a curve which then joined to the northbound road before a point (switch) is taking the train on a further switch towards the down road. The image therefore evidences some aspects of the pointwork present at the time of the image .... this trackwork has changed over the years. (Noting this here as the description is in German and I'm currently unsure at this moment how to add the description in German) Djm-leighpark (talk) 16:54, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
