Identification

[edit]

There has been considerable debate about the identification of 朝 vs. 萌 in the Oracle-Bone script. The Sinica database lists this glyph under the kaiOrder for 朝, but on the page for this individual fontcode it is (as of now) transcribed as 萌. The Lexicon database lists the transcribed text of the full "sentence" on piece of oracular bone as 癸丑卜行貞翌甲寅毓祖乙歲𫹉(=⿰酉彡)茲用. --Frigoris (talk) 13:21, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
