Description
English: First diagram of an iconoscope television camera tube, one of the earliest practical video camera tubes, invented by Vladimir Zworykin, from his 1931 US patent. Zworykin patented the tube for use as an ultraviolet video microscope, but applied it to the new expanding technology of television.
