Foto in spiegelbeeld! De Unterwalden was de sterkste Rijnsleepboot. Het schip werd in 1949 in België voor rekening van de Schweizerische Reederei AG in Basel gebouwd. Het bezat 4 Sulzer motoren type 9TD29 (9cil twee takt diesel) van 1.000 pk elk. Het totaal motorvermogen bedroeg dus 4.000 pk.

In 1971 is de Unterwalden in Harlingen omgebouwd tot passagiersschip en vaart thans in die hoedanigheid nog onder de naam Serena.
