Photograph of a Zuni Indian man worshiping in front of the Old Zuni stone idols, ca.1900. A lone Zuni Indian stands in front of five stone idols in the middle of a desert-like area. Shrubs, bushes and flat rocks are scattered throughout the landscape. Flat mountains are visible in the distance. The man is standing straight, holding his hat to his side, has his right arm extended. His right hand appears to be pinching something (soil?). Behind him are remnants of an adobe structure.
