Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Mensen in een grote stad zitten of liggen in de zon; in het park (oa temidden van gekapte bomen); op terrasjes; op zitbanken; op platte daken. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog stonden de bioscoopjournaals van de filmfabrieken Polygoon en Profilti onder toezicht van de Duitse bezetter. Polygoon en Profilti moesten samenwerken met het Duitse filmverhuurkantoor Tobis. Vanaf 1 januari 1941 kreeg het bioscoopjournaal daarom de naam Tobis Nieuws. Tot in het najaar van 1944 werden onder deze naam door Polygoon en Profilti om de beurt journaals geproduceerd.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; People in a big city sit or lie in the sunshine; in a park (a.o. among cut down trees); on terraces; on sofas; on sun roofs. During World War II the newsreels by film producers Polygoon and Profilti were controlled by the German occupiers. Polygoon and Profilti had to work together with the German film rental office Tobis. From January 1, 1941 the newsreels were therefore called Tobis News. Until the fall of 1944 newsreels under this name were produced alternately by Polygoon and Profilti. |
