Deutsch: Kopie aus einer Kunstzeitschrift Anfang der 1930er Jahre.
Schultze-Naumburg (Verfechter der "Blut- und Bodendideologie") attackiert die Maschinenästhetik der Moderne, indem er ihr das "arische Schönheitsideal" entgegensetzt. Das Dampfer- und Automotiv verwendete Le Corbusier 1923 in seinem Magazin "L’Esprit Nouveau" und in der Essaysammlung "Vers une architecture", 1927 (dort in Kapitel IV. "Augen die nicht sehen").
English: Copy from an art magazine in the early 1930s.
Schultze-Naumburg (defender of the "blood and soil ideology") attacks the machine aesthetic of Modernity by opposing it to the "Aryan ideal of beauty". The steamer and car motif was used by Le Corbusier in 1923 in his magazine "L’Esprit Nouveau" and in the collection of essays "Vers une architecture", 1927 (there in chapter IV. "Eyes that do not see"). |
