Summary
[edit]DescriptionZip World Tower (geograph 6900518).jpg |
English: Zip World Tower
Tower Colliery was Wales' last deep level mine but in the end, despite a worker's buyout extending its life by 13 years, it finally became uneconomical to mine and closed in January 2008. The site remained derelict for another 13 years before finding a new least of life as Zip World Tower, featuring two zip lines, one being Europe's steepest and fastest zip line. |
