The saddest sight in the streets of the young cities of Puget Sound, is theremnant of the great tribes of Indians who once possessed the land. Thesedescendants of the ancient forest kings and warriors come wandering from theirreservations into Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia in blankets and moccasins, inyellow paint and rags.
