Description

English: Zgrada Tehničkog fakulteta u Beogradu se nalazi u Bulevaru kralja Aleksandra 73.Zgrada Tehničkog fakulteta je građena u periodu od 1925. do 1931. godine, prema projektu arhitekata Nikole Nestorovića i Branka Tanazevića. Posle Drugog svetskog rata, prema projektu arhitekte Mihaila Radovanovića, dozidan je treći sprat. Prvobitna namena i danas je sačuvana, u zgradi su smeštena tri fakulteta iz oblasti tehničkih nauka i to je prva namenski zidana zgrada za smeštaj tehničkih fakulteta.Zgrada je izvedena kao slobodnostojeća građevina, monumentalnih je dimenzija, veoma razuđene osnove sa četiri unutrašnja dvorišta. Najveća pažnja posvećena je glavnoj fasadi, gde dominira centralni rizalit sa monumentalnim stepeništem koje vodi do trodelnog ulaza. Skulpture i reljefnu plastiku na pročelju fasade radili su akademski vajari Ilija Kolarević i Ivan Lučev, dok je autor ornamentalne plastike u veštačkom kamenu Bedrih Zeleni. Zgrada Tehničkog fakulteta ima značajne arhitektonsko-stilske i urbanističke vrednosti kao jedno od najznačajnijih dela dvojice poznatih autora, izrazit primer akademskog metodau oblikovanju i jedan od najistaknutijih objekata univerzitetskog kompleksa.
