| Description |
English: Zero Mile Stone, Nagpur, Maharashtra. This is an important monument if we consider the geography of India. This stone is considered to be situated in exact geographical center (the point where a line from North to South and East to West of India meets). In the time of British rule in India, this was the point from which distance were calculated to different places in India. Even though widely accepted ac the center of India, there are claims that this is not the exact center, but a point considered for administrative purposes.
