Summary
[edit]DescriptionZenit-11 top view (109152864).jpg |
Zenit 11 is good camera. It is fully manual and mechanical camera, it has a built in selenium cell light meter that requires no batteries. It weighs a lot. The the amount of light moves a needle, you turn the dial that moves a pointer until you can see the needle through the hole in the pointer. Then like with a slide rule read the appropriate shutter-speed for the aperture from the dia or vice-versa. Set the shutter speed and aperture as directed and take the picture. I suppose it is spot metering as it isn't through the lens. You do however need to move the camera/body/head to set the camera. |
