| Description |
English: Diagram of the arrangement of flagella and cytoskeletal elements in the opaline Zelleriella. Flagella are arranged in rows that are separated by folds in the cell membrane. A spiral of material wraps round the inside of the axoneme of microtubules that supports the flagellum just before it transitions into the basal body. Small struts connect the basal body to the cell membrane, and basal bodies within a row are connected by a fibrous root. |
